October 2018 Round Table Discussions

The STLE Philadelphia Section presents a unique program with 6 industry professionals leading round-table discussions on topics pertinent to the lubricant industry. Attendees will be asked to review the questions and participate in those discussions of interest. The 6 facilitators will give brief summaries of these discussions to all attendees.
Featuring: Automotive: Dr. Carl Esche, Global P.C.M.O. Technical Manager, Vanderbilt Chemicals LLC; “How has SN Plus affected and how will GF-6 affect engine performance?”
Careers in Lubrication: Dr. Bill Tuszynski, Principal, The Unami Group; “How do we make the lubrication industry attractive to technical, operational and commercial professionals for our long-term stability?”
Distributor Challenges: Graeme Biggin, Business Development Director, Acme Hardesty; “What are the two or three key attributes that lubricant industry customers require from their distributors?
Industrial Lubricants: Lauren Zunner, Marketing Manager, DYNAVIS® – Americas, Evonik Oil Additives; “What is the best way to measure efficiency and then how do we communicate/promote/and sell efficiency to the lubricant market?”
Metalworking Fluids: Dr. Fred Passman, Principal, BCA, Inc; “How can biostable metalworking fluids be built in an era of increasing regulatory pressure?”
Regulations: Neil Canter, Principal, Chemical Solutions; “How can lubricant manufacturers and additive suppliers deal with the growing number of global and regional regulations such as GHS and REACH?”
