Congratulations Philadelphia Section STLE – you did it!
Thank you to the hardworking/dedicated Board members, Corporate Sponsors, Speakers, Scholarship Donors & Winners, The University of Pennsylvania, Sandy Run Golf Club and each and every one who attended our meetings. This Award is the culmination of many years of dedicated work by exceptional individuals who, like you, unselfishly work for the betterment of our industry and society as a whole. You worked without expectation of any financial reward, yet worked hard for the personal satisfaction of helping others succeed. This Section is truly a family who cares for each other and does their best to ensure each member has the potential to achieve their personal best. Our success is built on past contributions of members like Ed Haney and George Arbocus for whom, this year in memorial; we respectfully attach their names to our Golf Outing and Education Course. Our success is built on the future too, by encouraging study in science and engineering through participation in the Delaware Valley Science Fair and our generous Scholarship Program.
Our success is not because of any one individual or program, it’s the whole package! As outgoing Chairman of this Section, I offer a big thank you to each and every one of you (past, present and future participants) who participated in any small way to help us achieve this prestigious award. I am truly humbled, honored and appreciative to be a part of this special family we call Philadelphia Section – STLE! I can’t wait to see what our Section’s future brings.
