Job description

Position Summary

The Chemist will develop new acrylic polymer products. This incumbent will provide high-level expertise in formulation, testing, scale up, and commercialization of these products. Responsibilities will include serving as the primary liaison with manufacturing, and interacting with internal and external customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Formulate and develop new acrylic synthesis processes for a variety of applications.
  • Interface with Manufacturing, Sales, Product Management, and Technical Services as required to solve customer problems and support existing business.
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks.

Support the introduction of new product formulations, products and procedures from R&D to manufacturing


The candidate will hold a minimum Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, polymer science or chemical engineering. Desired is a track record of developing, scale up of and commercializing new products.

Preferred is proven “hands on” experience in polymer synthesis. The candidate should have the ability to work in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communications skills are required for this role.
