  • Responsible for the Brewing Segment portfolio and/or execution of product management projects within the segment
  • Contribute to Food Enzymes Global Product Strategy and execute accordingly to drive growth in Brewing Segment
  • Manage the development of new products and product improvement projects
  • Manage current product offering in the portfolio
  • Ensure successful team work between the IB functions, the Regional Industry Leads and the sales and application organization
  • Use internal and external information sources to generate, define and screen new product/solution concept candidates
  • Lead projects for new product concepts and launches in Brewing Segment
  • R&D liaison & IB Brewing application liaison: define NPD project objectives, key R&D deliverables, prepare project charter, documents and maintain IPS
  • Prepare materials for stage reviews and go/kill decision points
  • Regulatory Liasion: timely request regulatory approval process for products in the assigned industry segment
  • Develop launch strategy: in cooperation with the Regional Industry Leads, develop product launch strategies. This includes providing adequate timelines for market launch preparation and implementation to ensure consistency with overall marketing strategy, facilitating and/or executing product launches, esp. product features and benefits, with local sales forces
  • Develop, in close consultation with the communications experts, product documentation for the assigned products and ensure all products are fully compliant with product documentation requirements
  • Train sales teams: in consultation with Regional Industry Leads ensure proper knowledge levels in sales organization by developing and distributing product training materials
  • Manage product life cycles: maintain product portfolio, manage products in and out, maintain balance between fulfilling market needs and number of products
  • Develop and maintain sales support materials (e.g. presentations, TM’s, Handouts)
  • Set minimum prices for BU regional directors
  • Engage actively with other marketing intelligence groups within Dupont, such as to establish a network of potential data sources
  • Monthly reporting to Global Industry Leader


  • A brewing background combined with MBA or a business education combined with sufficient science knowledge to enable quick learning of basic enzyme technology
  • Experience in brewing market space preferred
  • Proven affinity with marketing, either through previous work experience or through (secondary) education
  • Global experience and understanding
  • Experience in working in a highly complex matrix organization
  • Strong Project Management Skills: Ability to communicate goals, tasks and progress against milestones with clarity, accuracy and enthusiasm
  • Demonstrates excellent team leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate
  • Excellent business acumen, capability to translate opportunities into solid business cases
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, communication and collaboration skills
  • Highly self-motivated with effective time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary and global environment
